Find specialty pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, and hay bales to choose from. Their farm also has cows and horses right next to the farm!

Ken’s Korney Corn Mazy is located in Garner, and they state that they are North Carolina’s original corn maze. While that might be considered one of their top fall activities, they also have a sunflower maze early in fall, hayrides, and a pumpkin house for all your pumpkin-picking needs.
Moreover, they always have their garden and produce area where you can get fresh foods, Amish furniture, and more.

Best Time to Visit Pumpkin Patches
Most places in and around Raleigh open for pumpkin picking around mid-September into the end of October, so the best time to go pumpkin picking will be in these two months. It is always important to check with the farm before going. Most of these Raleigh farms put updates on their Facebook pages.
What to Know Before Pumpkin Picking
If you happen to be choosing a Raleigh Farm that offers pumpkin picking off the vine, keep in mind it is a messy job! The pumpkins are not cleaned off for you, and the vines are spiky.
If you plan on picking pumpkins from the vine, I would recommend bringing gloves. Additionally, consider bringing some sort of wagon. You might find yourself at the back of the field, looking for your perfect pumpkin and realizing that carrying all the way back stinks!
Additionally, I wouldn’t recommend wearing your favorite shoes if you plan to really walk through the fields. The fields can get muddy.
My last tip would be to bring cash – just in case. While a lot of farms now take credit cards, it is just good to have cash just in case!
Wrap-up
